Agriculture, pastoralism and land planning cannot be dissociated now. Connections between agriculture and space are mainly debated. Livestock farming in mediterranean areas get closed to land planning strategies because of its pastoral management. Furthermore, territorial communities wander about the functions of agriculture: employment, social life, raw materials of manufactured good productions, landscape, environmental amenities...Therefore, Research and Development works are conducted for evaluating the future of livestock pastoral farming in terms of space management and ecological amenities integration, and in terms of valorization by sheep and cattle of wooded rangelands.
